Engineered Steel Fabric​ - Staggered Mesh

In SSM Staggered Mesh, the main wires are arranged alternately in staggered manner. This arrangement of wires will give 100% area of steel at the middle zones of the sheet and 50% area of steel at both ends. SSM Staggered Mesh is cost effective due to the following reasons: ◉It offers great steel savings as its cross-section area can be arranged and concentrated in zone corresponding to the zone of force direction. ◉Curtailment of reinforcement can be readily manufactured in the factory. ◉One-layer large surface reinforcement sheet could be used instead of having two layers of standard fabric to achieve curtailment pattern which results in faster placing speed. Engineered Steel Fabric​ - Bar Mat

SSM Bar Mats are prefabricated steel sheets consisting of a series of steel bars or wires welded together with cross wires. The cross wires are purely carrier wires used to form a rigid assembly and are spaced typically at 1000mm centre to centre. The exact spacing varies according to design requirements. If main steels are needed in both directions, bar mats can be laid at 90 degrees to each other. The use of scheduled or detailed types of mats can offer further economies in material quantities. Bar Mats can usually be placed by 3 to 4 people without using a crane. Customizable configuration of the wire/bar diameters and spacing.
